FREE PHONE SCREENING/CONSULTATION
Congratulations on taking this important first step. In this phone contact, it is our responsibility to you, to determine if coming to The Women’s Therapy Service is the appropriate step for you or your family’s needs, or if we need to suggest another resource for you.
There is no charge to consult with us on the phone about your mental health needs and your particular situation. This initial phone screening/consultation is highly confidential, free, and cannot take place through e-mail exchange.
INITIAL CONSULTATION/EVALUATION
Counseling and Psychotherapy begins with an initial consultation/evaluation to make sure, through this initial interview, that we can help you and you feel comfortable that you can be helped by us. You need to feel confident that we have the appropriate expertise and skills to meet your needs and that you feel there is a “good fit”.
INSURANCE
We accept private fees and offer sliding scale fees for those in need. Do not hesitate to speak to us about your coverage and your needs. You may call your insurance company to inquire about your mental health outpatient benefit. This information will help you determine how much you will be reimbursed for your care at the Women’s Therapy Service.
When you call for approval or information, The codes of service that we provide at the Women’s Therapy Service are: Initial Consultation., CPT #90801; Individual Psychotherapy, CPT# 90806; Group Psychotherapy #90853; Family Therapy with the patient present, CPT# 90847, and Family Therapy without the patient present, CPT # 90846.
FEES
Our consultation and treatment fees for this calendar year, are furnished upon request.
PRIVACY
Your confidentiality is of utmost importance to us. Your privacy is protected at The Women’s Therapy Service by the HIPPA Laws and by our Code of Ethics of our professional associations- The National Association of Social Work and The American Counseling Association. We follow these standardized guidelines for confidentiality in terms of privacy policies and their exceptions.
