This workshop series is intended to be a safe and supportive environment to explore the changes in your moods, your body image, and in your relationships, during your pregnancy.
This wellness workshop is meant to maximize your mental health Pre-Natally to insure a happy and healthy pregnancy, and wonderful bonding time with your newborn. The intent of this pregnancy workshop is to focus on the joys of pregnancy and the rewards of pending motherhood. The goal is to shore up your coping skills during your pregnancy that will be necessary in those first intense months with your newborn.
At the Women’s Therapy Service, we have found that having a personal or family history of depression or anxiety, a history of an eating disorder, or a personal history with abuse or trauma, can all be risk factors for Post-Partum Depression. At The Women’s Therapy Service we have experienced much success in preventing post-partum depression by initiating this therapeutic work during pregnancy.
Make new friends and experience support from other Mothers-to-Be.
Workshop utilizes experiential methods such as relaxation techniques and guided imagery.
$40.00 for single session or $140.00 for a 4-week cycle.
